Ok, I tried color, I tried size, I tried font...didn't see any changes, so I tried all three by highlighting...no change...I wanted to add an image (of what I'm not sure) but the http:// came up so I backed out. Give me Corel Draw anyday, that I can understand but I'm at a loss here...help!

Pepper,

The key is that you have to hit the button BEFORE you enter th text to be colored, or bolded or etc.

i.e.
Change the Color to Red
Type the words "this is Red"
Hit the "close current Tag" button
And now you have Red text!

Its not like Word or other programs where you can hilight the text with your mouse and then choose bold....

Once you do this a couple times you'll get good enough to do it without the buttons and menus above.

Let me know if I can help more.

Ok, Matt and everyone, going to give this a try...we'll see if it works.

My favorite color is this is blue but the color I was going for last night was this is teal because it's inbetween 2 of my favorite colors (#2 being green.

Now, Matt, if this doesn't work, you'll know I need additional help! ;)

UH, OH...I just noticed something (after I noticed I finally got some color)...this is what I wrote in last message:

My favorite color is this is blue but the color I was going for last night was this is teal because it's inbetween 2 of my favorite colors (#2 being green.

Per your instructions you told me to write "this is Red" after I changed the color to red...but the "this is" was thrown into my reply...why is this??

Pepper,

Sorry, should have been more explicit. The bottom line is, you did everything right - the codes in brackets determine what the color is - the words you type outside of the brackets (i.e. "this is") will always appear.

Hope this helps,
Matt
