CONTEST (Dec. 1 - Jan. 31)
RED, WHITE AND BLUE CHRISTMAS CONTEST
Do any subject matter (card, scrapbook page, journal, wrapping paper) in a red white and blue Christmas or Hanukkah motif. If stamps are used, most, but not all need to be Posh Impressions. Other supportive products can be any. Three first prizes of $20 of product of the winners choice and the best ten will be placed on a special page in the club site. Contest deadline is January 31. Put name, e-mail address and telephone number on back of entry (so judges do not know identity of entrants...judges will not peek) and mail to Red, White and Blue Christmas Contest, Posh Impressions, 22600-A, Lambert St. , #706, Lake Forest, CA 92630. Judges will be Posh staff.

A second contest with calendars did not have entries as the contest was suggested in the first month of the site's existance...too early.

For those of us who live overseas (or like me, in a country without a reliable mail service), would it be possible to enter the contests by scanning our work and e-mailing? I know it wouldn't be the same as judging it by holding it in your hand, but otherwise the contests are pretty much restricted to you North Americans. Any chance?

Hi Lizzy,

As some average work looks sensational when scanned and placed on a computer monitor, and some sensational work looks average when displayed on the same monitor, I must insist that submissions be mailed.

But, we would love to feature your work on the club site, and if it comes from some distance which is a hardship, feature it more predominately, but not as a contest entry.

Hope this seems fair to everyone.

Hi, have the winners been picked and announced yet? or maybe I missed it when my computer was down. Just wondering, because I am anxious to see the red, white and blue art work. Thanks, Verna

You know, I'm not sure about this. But I don't THINK anyone entered this contest!!! And if that's true, that means everyone just passed up a $20 gift certificate to Posh!!! In fact, since there were suppose to be 3 winners, y'all just passed up 3 GIFT CERTIFICATES!!!!!

Please remember, the contests posted on the Club board are ONLY for Club members........so y'all have a really good chance of winning....IF YOU ENTER!!! Let's see if we can start getting some action in our Contest Forum!;)

Well, I for one did ENTER the contest. So that is one reason why I was waiting to hear. I wonder what happened to my entry and I did not have it returned by snail mail as not deliverable. Verna

I sent in a sheet of wrapping paper and also a card (all together in one envie - which was of course decorated too!). Can we check on this? I didn't send it return receipt - never thought of it until right now. Thanks!

Thought I would share with you the message I received from Warren. He indicated that the results would be forthcoming soon. With the new year, the annual stamp show, Dee's busy schedule, etc. etc. the contest results have not been posted.

So I guess we should all be just a little more patient and give them a chance to catch up.

We have had quite a few entries for our regular contests on our site at http://www.poshimpressions.com You can see winning entries from our recent Metallics Rainbow Sponge contest right on the home page. We hope you will take a look.
But club contests so far have had almost no entries. In addition, we at Posh have not been paying attention about handling them when few or none have arrived to judge and display. I must admit that this is no excuse and the fault is mine.
Again, there are now few entries for the current St. Patrick's Day contest, although there is a special sale on our site to purchase materials for it. As your moderator i.r.stamper said in an earlier post above this one, those that enter will have an excellent chance to win. Later, I expect we will have many entries, as we have historically had on our regular site http://www.poshimpressions.com
We had two winners for the Red White and Blue contest, and they are now posted in the gallery and on our regular site. Each is receiving $20 of merchandise.
Remember, if you want your entry returned, please include a self-addressed envelope.
The St. Patrick's Day contest ending March 17 (St. Patrick's Day) is an easy one, so beginning stampers...jump right in!
