Dee was able to see some club members at Memory Trends trade show held in the Sands Convention Center on the strip in Las Vegas. She loves these encounters and if you are "in the trade", be sure to say hi...maybe get some tea together.
Lots of exciting things: her signature Blending Blox blending pads and signature pens in her own colors were well received and the new gloves for crafting were beyond a huge hit in that people who are major trend setters and agents for change have a deep commitment to them. There will be a number of articles written by them and Procraft will make them available for use in classes at some upcoming consumer shows. We used to have to work differently to keep hands clean or had to scrub inked-up hands. Photos got fingerprints from normal, acidic hands and so did papers. That is changing as even as we watch. For example, The Preservation Society that tests products to be acid free, archival and top qualily uses Dee's Procraft Gloves to do it. Their idea. We didn't know they were doing this.
Finally, person after person said "Way to go" when they heard we are going for unmounted stamps, both clear and rubber. We showed the new packaging. It was very encouraging.
The new web site is much more of a challenge than the people building it ever imagined, but it will be worth it. When it goes up soon, the products mentioned above will be there.
All the best to everyone!
