View Full Version : How do you prefer your Posh News?

Warren

Do you prefer the Posh News to be received as a letter as it is now or would you prefer it with pictures of products and things as some companies send it. Anything is possible.

At this time I prefer a letter with links to the pictures within our web site or club site so you can choose. A letter seems friendlier, more traditional, warmer and particularly for you, the reader.

A newsletter with pictures can be eye catching and fun to see and is more commercial. Please tell me which you prefer and we'll see what we can do.

If you prefer something additional or different, we will consider it and you can type your thoughts in the comment box below the poll.

Thanks for the help and thanks for being a reader!

I've been getting the monthly letter since I first got my computer and look forward to it each month.
Since I joined the Club-I am on everyday-for that fix :) so I keep up pretty well with products but love to hear what's new and what happening. so keep the newsletter coming. Would miss it!
Thanks Warren

I prefer just a letter with links. My reason is that I am on dial-up, and e-mails loaded with pictures take forever to download. It's easy enough for me to just click on thngs I want to see.

So I voted to keep it the way it is! :)

I agree with everything Christine said. I have dial up also and it does take forever to download lots of pictures.

Couldn't we have both?* I'm on dial-up too and I know how frustrating it is to wait for something to load. I always look forward to the newsletter and by having the links, I can pick and choose whatever (link) I'm interested in. I have a tendency to jump around the newsletter as far what links I select. Many times I think it would be great to have pictures that correspond to the various articles, but that might be a bit too much. How about having links to pictures so that those who want pictures can have them and still not have to wait forever for it to load?

*I hadn't read the current Newsletter that Warren just sent out when I wrote this. The pictures of Dee in her gown (WOW!) included in the letter (as a link) are just what I was trying to explain. This letter is the perfect example of the best of both worlds. Thanks Warren!

I like getting the letter also. I look forward to it coming, reading it and then going to the site. I think the letter is more personal and I like that about Posh.

Definitely Letter is my vote.

I prefer the folksy, your-family kind of news letter you put out. Because I subscribe to a couple of magazines, I get pictures and more "professional" kinds of articles, etc. I wouldn't want you to change Warren. You give us little Warren/Dee tidbits sometimes and I like that. We love you two out here along with the rest of the crew because you are down to earth. Keep 'em coming!

Just received your letter- SORRY! :( I didn't remember that your Club letter was the nice letter I'm receiving now that I'm a member. I still wouldn't change my vote--I love the letter as it is with the news and links. Thanks for all the fun.
God bless, Miriam

Please keep the text-style newsletter. I really enjoy reading it and when a link looks interesting, I go to that page. Having done many newsletters and websites for PTA, I know a bit of what it takes to write the text and to include pictures. Text only is so much faster and easier to update. With Warren's and Dee's hectic schedules, we wouldn't get as good a newsletter if it were to have pictures, because quality writing would have to be sacrificed to include pictures. 'Sorry, didn't mean to get on the old "soap box". :)
Thanks for the wonderful newsletters, and please keep them coming!

I also love the newsletter. I get an e-mail magazine that takes forever to load. I much prefer the newsletter with links that I can go to. It also seems so much more personal the way it is.

I like the current newsletter format due to the dowload time issue.

Thanks Shari!
I'm more of a lurker than a poster, but I do love to stamp and to make cards. This group is so special...that's why I just had to put my two cents in about the newsletter. I've really enjoyed getting in on all of the sales and finding card examples for inspiration. Golly...its hard to believe its been that long since I joined. Time does fly when you're stamping! :)

I prefer the informality of the newsletter. Seems friendlier and more personal. My day is always brighter when I see you name in the headline, Warren. Dees gown at the fashion show was gorgeous! Very chic. Hugs, Marlene

Warren pllease keep the original newsletter format its a more direct friendly way to recieve uptodate news. I personally dont see the point of running two formats too much work friend just keep up the existing nesletter and from the poll im sure this probably will be the choice you may take. kind Regards Andrew Overton.

Glad you joined in Bawinbaok! It is always great to hear from a new posting member. Hope getting your feet wet you will like it and continue to post along with the lurking. It is a great source of information! I think hands down we all like the letter from Dee and Warren much better. We like the tidbits and stories. It keeps it personal. Hope you continue the letter - it is more friendly and personal. Like family.

Warren, please keep the original format for the newsletter. I like the "small town" feel to it. I can read the letter and choose when I have time to link to the sites, many other e-newletters that I receive have so many color and graphics that I get lost in that and by the time I find time to read the letter most of the news is way past due.

Welcome to the new posters. Glad to have you jumping in..Warren, keep the newsletter just as it is as I have dial up internet too and this works great for me. It has a more personal nature to it too. Thanks..hugs, Verna

I have DSL so the speed has no real bearing on my choice but I just love the next door feel of the news "letter" as opposed to the flyer format. The other is too slick and cold for my tastes. Give me the friendly down home letter any day. But then I also like pinto beans and corn bread and you can't get much more "down home" than that.

I have to say I voted but the wrong way. My choice is also the newsletter as opposed to the flyer. I totally agree with your comments Silverfeather, the letter is so much more friendlier. My brain didn't register what I was reading I guess. I'm going to log off for now and give it a rest. I think I've been on for too long.(lol) Have a great day all!
