Do video clips have value to you stampers and/or members of Club Posh?
We have placed 3 clips from Dee's newest DVD, Simply Posh.
Please give us some input to help us decide if it is worth it to place more clips on the site. Thank you.

Warren, I thought they were of value to anyone who doesn't have the DVD. Picking up some hints from them and also perhaps helping them to decide to purchase the DVD.
I just found them interesting because I check out anything new on the website-don't want to miss anything!! ;) I have the DVD so unless it was something brand new---
I don't know that more would be better.

I'm with Miriam. There are alot of people who come to the main site who will see these and learn something new and want the DVD when they find out how full of info it is. I like knowing I can go watch a small clip instead of checking the whole DVD if I forgot some little thing like how long do I microwave to get the stamp off the wood? I personally would love a place where I can go see small demos of new techniques or products. That also makes it easier to help friends by referring them to the clip instead of trying to come up with a lengthy word explaination. So many of us learn visually, what a blessing to have a small video!!! Thanks Dee and Warren! I say keep them coming!!!

I third that! I found them very useful and informative. To both the beginner and experienced stamper! Who ever thought of the idea was brillant! It is fun seeing Dee on the site like that too!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep them coming!

For some reason, they wouldn't work for me. :( I clicked, but nothing happened...

I DO think this is a great idea, for the reasons I have in the other thread and the reasons already mentioned here. Wonderful idea!

I, too already own the DVD. But I agree with the others here that there is value in having the clips, for others who've not seen the DVD yet.

Not everyone has access to stamp stores and classes, but still like to see demos of products before buying. I wish something like this had been available when I first started stamping. I used to blindly buy stuff, and have no idea what I was supposed to do with it.

I say keep them coming! :)

Christine,
I love your Kitty Stamp-O-Meter.
Warren, how about a change of clips once in a while?

Warren....
Having the video clips are great. :D
They're a little teasers. ;) If you like what you see and want more info, just get the entire video or DVD. :D

Also it would be a great preview to a new DVD. ;)
Just like the movies in the theatre. ;)

Welll- maybe they work for some, but not for me. They seem to take 6 to 8 minutes to download and then they only play about 30 seconds before my computer goes "wacky" and I get booted offline...now maybe it's related to my current/recent server troubles or to the fact that I still use a 56K dial up connection...but they don't add up to enough to be of any help to me. Nice idea though. Wished I could have peaked at them.

I think the clips would be a great idea, only they did not work on my computer. I got all excited to see them and then they didn't play.
Probably great for those who can see them.

I voted for them to be interesting, but like AnnetteMay, could not get them to work very well. I, too, have a 56K modem and perhaps that is why. Some of these technical things do not work with all computers. I would think though that for those who can download them, it would be both interesting and useful. And, if most people are like me, they take the idea and adapt to their own. So it was a difficult decision for me to pick just one too..as I toyed between instructive and interesting. But since I have the DVD, I can always check out the DVD for the instructions. Thanks for asking. Hugs, Verna

I'm thinking that AnnetteMay could be right, that perhaps those of us who only have a 56K dial-up connection, the video clips don't work that well, for me also. I don't lose my connection, but they are "choppy". I also at the time didn't own a DVD, so had to order the VHS.

Nothing compares to the real macoy so short clips are fine for quick viewing but purchasing a copy of the Dvd certainly is the best way to see Dee doing what she knows best stamping with great enthusiasm for all to enjoy.Kind Regards Andrew O

I called the web master and of course they have state of the art everything, so they think that all of you do too. I also have cable, so they work beautifully for me. Though most people now have DSL, cable or something equivalent, not everyone does, and so they are looking into providing something for 56K.

In the meantime, Andrew is right! With the DVD you get it all and it works perfectly for you.

Warren, thanks for letting the WebMaster know that some of us don't have the faster speed of modems/service and hopefully he can figure out how the rest of us can see a nice smooth moving clip!
