well, sincee Dee does alot of brayer stuff, I actually had a dream the other night, that that moldable foam stamp stuff, penscore or something? that someone made a BRAYER out of it. imagine the poshabilities . . .heat it, run it over like a tray of rice, or the bottom of your shoes, or corrugated cardboard, and wa-la, a patterned brayer . . . . but for all i know it wouldn't work. I'm no expert, plus I was asleep at the time! lol.
also, I was wondering, now that you have brass stencils, do you or will you carry that new embossing paste stuff? there's a transluscent (you can mix dye inks w/it) or opaque.
you put the stencil down, brush this stuff on, wipe off the excess, lift yourbrass stencil, and the paste has raised (dry embossed except i guess technically this is wet lol) the design! Mixed w/your rainbow inks and the translucent, I can just imagine! I can't remember who makes it, I've seen it at my local scrapbook store.

Wow, what a SUPER idea! I hope someone out there takes note of this! Sounds like something I would love to try.

I printed the brayer idea for Dee to see. Your idea may be something for someone else to make, as all we do is design or invent for companies at their invitation due to Dee's reputation. So as it is your idea, and possibly a good one, I would submit it to Speedball or Ranger and get the credit or payment yourself.
I am not familiar with the other products. Is anyone familiar with the embossing paste?

calling ranger with the idea! I'll do it this week cause now on this public board of course someone else may have seen it and "taken" it. But it would be cool I even thought of a tag line, it's a stamper's dream (since it occurred to me in a dream) lol. doesn't have to be used but i still thought it was funny. i also wish someone would invent a holographic ink stamp pad. same dream. lol.

p.s. thanks for the encouragement!

Sarebear-
If you haven't done it yet, please do call them, ask to speak to Anne Generas and tell her that Carlotta and Dee and Warren sent ya! I'll vouch for you that you thought up the idea, so they'll know that this talented and clever and ingenious person is a friend of mine...er, I mean that the idea really was yours!

One pastes you referred to is by Dreamweaver that makes some stencils. I love using it. Adds another demention to the stamping world. It takes the Ranger inks great! Your idea of the Penscore sounds wonderful! I've used it and like the look of backgrounds I've tried. Another product that I like that goes along with your idea, is the Resist Ink. Saw a demo with it years ago in Columbus, Oh. The lady stepped lightly on it with her shoes (Had a great tread). Then she used the resist pad on another lady's wheelchair tread. All this was in conjuction with making collage cards. She used the outside rims of lipstick on ink pads to add. So look around, you never know what stamping with "odd" objects might add to your art.

That was funny (wasn't laughing at me, was laughing with me!) I was so nervous. Soo they're going to check out my idea! Cool!
