View Full Version : Not really Dee, but see what (Super)Matt Looks like

As Warren & the crew alluded to in the latest PoshNews, I appeared in a segment on NBC Nighly News on Tuesday Night 3/12/02. The piece was on Stay-at-home-dads, and while the video of me and my family and my dad's group was very exciting, the subject matter of the segment was not to my liking.

Not to bad for my 1:57 minutes of fame - 12:03 more to go!

I can vouch that Matt is NOT lazy. His beautiful daughter comes first and he adores her and does more than his share for her and with her. I agree. The slant on the program, suggesting that dads still do less than their share was erroneous, if Supermatt is an example.
Matt is not an employee of Posh Impressions, so I don't have to be nice.

As you said, I clicked the link to see "What (Super) Matt looks like"! I'm sure I watched that segment on TV but never knew that person is you! on this board!

You looked good!:D (didn't care much about the issue. LOL)

As I am in a video viewing mood I went to see what the "US" thoughts are on this subject!! Totally understand where you are coming from Matt with not liking the implications but have to say that for my DH who stay at home it is more true!! He is great with the kids most of the time but the moajority of house work is done by myself along with bayhs etc and I know of other UK families that are the same so i guess you're going to have to come over here and teach our SAHD's a thing or two!!:D

Keep up the good work as your wife is obviously proud of the job you do!!
