Boy, I sure hope y'all had as great an Easter (Egg) Day as I did! And yes, this post really DOES belong in the 'red rubber' forum, cause it's that same red rubber that made my day so great!;)

Since both of my step sons AND their old man (my sweet DH) all had to work today, there was no big family dinner, no egg hunt (well, must admit the boys out grew that YEARS ago!:( ), and I looked forward to another dreary sunny day. (In FL it's almost always sunny, but it can still be dreary! ) But just in time, late last week my Posh order arrived......and I spent most of the day playing with my new Posh stamps!!! Ooo, look out Spatter It Up, cause there's a new bad boy in town!:D

Yep, I'm now in love with two of Posh's sets!!! Y'all know me, I'm always saying I like to work smaller...and then I buy every Duet I can get my hands on, and they're not really all that small! So, THIS time I decided to try the sets, just because the images ARE smaller! AND I'M PO****IVELY IN HEAVEN!!!

I got the "Silhouette Florals" and the "Ethnic Expressions" sets, and they are BOTH to die for!!!******** Hey, Mom, I'm no longer 'blocked', and my tags for the swap are almost done!******* Yep, I was DEEPLY into stamper's block, but 5 minutes with these stamps and I can't stamp FAST enough to keep up with the ideas! They're perfect for smaller 'canvases', like TAGS (ahem, did I mention my tags for the swap are almost finished?:D ), UTEE tiles, CLAY (another of my loves!)....oooo, all kindsa things! Heck, these stamps even gave me ideas for CARDS....and I don't even like to make cards!

'Course, I was only kidding about Spatter It Up losing it's top standing in my stamp collection.....I still used it with my new sets of stamps!:p

Ok, I could have just edited it out, but I'm laughing so hard, I have to leave it there!!! What am I talking about??? Ok, up above, in my last post, I wrote that I was "possitively in heaven", only I used "posh" instead of "Poss"....well, we have a filter on the boards that will automatically remove any 'nasty' words.....Oh, I'm laughing SO hard, all over again!!! If you take the first part of that word 'possitively', you have possit.....and substitute an 'h' for that second 's' (Posh instead of Poss), then remove the 'po' in the front....well, that's what the filter did, and it read it as a 'nasty' word!!!!! So it removed the 'offending' word, and added stars!!!:D Well, guess it's good to know the software works, and I sure did enjoy the laugh! And I just had to let y'all in on the joke!:D

I have been looking at those sets at least a couple of times a week. I log on to Club Posh, cruise the site, then click on Shop Posh and drool over all the things I can't have right now, and both the sets you mentioned, plus the Clearly Posh Petals and Pieces set (it po****ivley is going to be in my next order!) are great!

I had a quiet day, too. Mostly spent it cleaning up the stamp room, 'cause it was awful messy.

Glad your stampers block is gone, and I must admit I can't wait to see your tags!

Hugs,
MOM

I got the Ethnic set for my birthday for a really great friend. I absolutely love it. Actually, it is something I requested because I've been wanting it so long. I too have used it. I just got around to it today. This set is really cool. It has some great patterns that go great on my tags. I haven't done any stamping almost all week. It felt great to use such a cool stamp after such a long dry spell. LOL!
I just love the filters. I was really wondering what the heck you were thinking when you wrote up that post! LOL!

let's see what it does with THAT title! so that explains what happened to my follow up post with all the posh puns (people had requested even more posh puns and I obliged but the msg mysteriously disappeared soon after I posted it!!).

I seriously ogled those stamp sets when I was trying to choose what to purchase . . .I did get a set though, it's the phrase set! which are smaller versions of the phrases, you may see one show up in the tag swap . . . . or maybe not! tee hee.

My daughter Amanda decided she wanted to color eggs for Easter on Saturday, and I didn't have food coloring in the house nor did I have egg dye. But you know what I did have? Yup, 2 sets of Inkabilities and Rainbow Sponges. They turned out beautiful! Amanda did a great job. I am going to have her make a few more tomorrow, so I can take a picture and post it to the Gallery and let you see what she did.

No, as for the "Funny Words" part...

I "discovered" this little funny thing about the word filter when I tried to post a thread about "stampers and scrappers". Now I use the word "croppers" for scrapbookers instead of the other shortened term. ;)
