World cardmarking Day dedicated to Gary Barbee

Here in the UK it is certainly world cardmaking day, and I for one have been busy making cards.

Up to now I have made 7, I started very early this morning :D

I have used various techniques and various stamps from different manufactures, but decided to dedicate one special card to Gary and his family in recognition of the way he is held in high esteem by me, and I suspect many of us here, at Club Posh.

Gary was the one instrumental in bringing to us EZ mount stamps. Previously Posh had always had red rubber mounted stamps and for a short while clear stamps were tried too.
What a revalation EZ mount was to all of us, now the rest of the world seem to be following suit!

The card I made used one of the most recent EZ mount sets they brought out with Posh. the water colour flowers.

The red rose signifys the love we have had for you Gary ( even if we have had to share it with Inge) LOL.
The word "celebrate" is a recognition of all you achieved, and all you are about to achieve with your new company.

Go with our love Gary , we SHALL be keeping in touch ;)

Now here is my card, how about a few more of our "family"of Posh members making one for Gary too.........remember it is world card making day :D

Oh wow this thread is bring up some really super cards.

the cards were great. i did not get to stamp on saturday. had to work two different programs.

I'd love to take the credit for sitting and gluing all those little buttons on my card but I'm afraid I can't. The buttom frame is a cardstock sticker. But it sure looks real doesn't it? The gold buttons are actually buttons.
