Xyron Adhesive Remover

I don't know about all you folks who have Xyron machines but over the months I have used my 500, I have accummulated residue on the outside of the machine which was starting to get messy, sticky and annoying. I just used some wonderful remover called, ironically, ADHESIVE REMOVER. It is manufactured by Manco, Inc. and works like a charm. Within about 3 minutes I had my machine all cleaned up so it looked new. This stuff is great. There may be other cleaners available that do equally as well but I had not found them. Thanks for that tip Bill. I must be one of the few people in the Uk who actually has the xyron 500, although I do have the 850 too.
I was so desperate to have one that I actually carried it back from one of my visits to the States:)
I am waiting for my next visit to purchase a refill cartridge for the 500. Although we can now get cartridges for the 850, (even the new machine has made it over here now)... I still cannot find anyone to supply me things for the 500:-(
Still I need to be patient, although patience is not one of my virtues:rolleyes:

I'm sure that the adhesive remover that you use is wonderful, but I can be really frugal sometimes. I just use rubbing alcohol to clean off the adhesive. It breaks it right down. this is what the people at Xyron recomended a few years ago. I've been using it for some time now. It works great.
