Hello ladies and gents, I just sent Ranger a question. I'd like to know if there are any new inks out there that are just like Dee's Ranger Rainbow sponge inks. I've got lots of papers decorated with the rainbow inks, but would like to use them for something new. Any ideas out there???

I have used a lot of my papers that I inked for punched out images or cut the paper down ,trim the edges with the wavy edged scissors and used smaller versions on the outside or inside of cards.Use for background papers in an album!?

Joyce you could punch or die cut flowers from the colored backgrounds. You could also cut strips for strip weaving.

Thank you Julie and Kathy. Yes, I've done that, too.....so pretty. I was just wondering what I could do with all the inks I own other than sponging. I sent Ranger a message and received a response from them. All they said was I could use Dylusions Spray......I guess they meant that it is the same stuff, but in a spray form. I think I might try it in a small Mini Mister. It sounds interesting!

Hi Joyce, Have you ever used your inks with shaving foam technique?

Oh, I see....well, add to water and use as a spritz on paper, give to your young relatives and let them paint(mixed with Crisco or Mayo) your windows !! I let my son paint on our sliding glass windows with finger paints when he was three. I left it on for days!! As you can see, I'm grasping here! The shaving foam technique would be fun for sure! I'll keep thinking! Would they dye a white Tee shirt?

Joyce, when I get a chance, I'll get out my rainbow inks and see what can be done with them.

Wendy, I did try the inks with shaving cream, but my friend brought me some with aloe in it and the papers smelled for weeks. "LOL" The papers did turn out pretty though. But.....it did take a lot of the ink.

Oh! You just need a tiny drop of the ink on top of the shaving foam. Have you watched a demo on the web? - Wendy

Joyce, you can also use your inks to re-ink some of your ink pads. - Wendy

You could probably put a couple drops of the rainbow inks on a plastic lid, add some water and use them for watercolors. I've never tried it, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
