You will love it. We had to wait a long time ourselves as all our friends were grandparents and we were not, so be patient. And, you will love it. Hugs, Verna

Verna, congrats on the new grandson. You must be proud as a peacock. I have been gone a couple of weeks, so now I will explain where I have been. About two weeks ago I started feeling dizzy and nauseous. This started in the morning and by afternoon I started to throw up. By late afternoon I could not stop. I called my mom and we went to the emergency room. I could not stop throwing up and they deceded to admit me to ICU. They assumed that I had a mini stroke as they could not get my BP down. I stayed in ICU four days ans by the end I still could not keep food down. They said I did have a mini stroke and took all kinds of tests but coulodn't figure out why my tummy was still upset. They ended up saying that I must have had the flu. They have me on all kinds more meds and want me to see a specialist about my BP spikes. They let me go, but the next day I was back to the ER at ST. Anne's because I was still dizzy and coulldn't sit up. They said thst I had vertigo and gave me more meds. Now I am back to semi normal as I still have facial pull on my mouth and eye. I am doing therapy to try to get that back to normal. GOOD NEWS. My surgeon has released me to put full weight on my leg. I am now using a walker and only using my wheelchair in my apartment and very little. God must have known that I needed a little light at the end of the tunnel. I am doing well with my walking. Well, my ride is here for church so talk to you later. Kay

Kay
Take it easy and get your rest. Make sure you are drinking and keeping hydrated. Good for you that you are making such great progress. Boy, the flu can really mess your whole system up. I am glad that you are feeling better and a positive attitude helps too. Take care, DebRN

Thanks Kay for the congrats. I am proud and happy all went well, as our daughter was having BP issues with the pregnancy and so it was good to have her and the baby both okay.

Now I hope you continue to progress back to normal health too and I agree...don't overdo and take good care of yourself. We need you back fulltime at Club Posh. And so glad you can get around better too. Hugs, Verna

Kay, Please get better, vertigo is no fun harold went throught it.

My son came for 5 days and left this morning and said mom I will be back to see you in 6 weeks That is why I have been MIA

Saw the surgeon this am and he said i am healing but it has only been 3 months since the surgery and I am not allowed to do anything still but my cards. He said nerves take along time to heal and he did alot of work. i told him my right leg does not support me very well and he said he knows it taks lots of time. So I got some good meds again and will see him again in 3 months and he told me to stop falling ROFL

Verna congra on your grandbaby.
Trudy

At least you can do your cards, Trudy! I'm glad for that. You just have to take it easy whether you want to or not!! Falling is not an option. Be careful!

Trudy that is good news, I know it's not what you wanted to hear... But you are moving forward and that is what counts!! It just make take you a little longer, be patient and keep stamping to keep the time off your mind.. One day you will look back and say it really wasn't that bad after all... Sending hugs your way... Hang in there, better days are ahead!!!

Trudy, all good things take time and you got good news as far as some stamping is allowed. Please be careful and do not fall if you can help it. Keep smiling, Mary
