Deb such a lovely card. I use my stencils alot with the gelli plate. This inspires me to want to get them out and use on cards. Just had an idea.....my next card will be using a stencil and embossing folder!

Judi, love your card! The colors are just beautiful.

Wendy, great card and design! Very creative!

Blossom, love your card. I love the collage design. Beautiful!

I am really loving using stencils on my cards lately. They are so versatile, you can use them in their entirety or just parts of the stencils in the design. You can also use inks, glitter paste, etc with them and create even more wonderful designs. Hugs, DebRN

I received a sweet card from Ann. I can no longer post pictures because that screen doesn’t come up when I hit go advanced.
Anyway it is pastel with a window and five cats are making a stack trying to reach the curtain rod of the window.
Cats by Art Imprissions, colored with copic markers.

Brooke I love how you used the printed pattern papers to highlight your images. I am working on doing that more and more. Getting better. I also like the addition of texture on your card. Very lovely.

As for the card I sent Ann...I started with collaging a paper napkin on a 3x5 index card. Then I put some acrylic paint on a pallet (piece of paper, lol) and took a key card/ used gift card and scraped paint over the entire card until I got the look I wanted. I stamped my image and text on another 3x5 card and colored with markers. Fussy cut out and adhered to card. Cut banner shape around text and drew a couple of lines to add interest. Once that was adhered I put white paint in a line on my pallet (not a puddle)
and pulled the edges of all four sides thru the paint to give it a border. Let dry and then matted on scrapbook paper then to card base.

Thanks Wendy for posting.

I have been trying to get on for about a week, but, the computer at the apt has been being un-cooperative. We are at the library, today. I was trying to tell you, I got the cutest card from Ann Winslow. It was an Art Impressions stamp she got at Stampaway. It was an open window with curtains flapping in the breeze. In the window was a stack of cats with the top one waving hi. I love it. Since Judi knows I have her name I have to let her know mine is on its way. My almost 97 yr old dad has been in the hospital and had to have surgery. He is so confused and things have been kind of hectic. His surgery went well and he is now back at Merrit House. I will have it in the mail on Tues.
