Maybe we should start listing ideas for swaps again, that way when the swaps start up the swap mom will have lots of them to consider. Here's my list of swaps I'd like to see:

Jewelry
Background papers
Asian
Male birthday cards
Gift tags

These could all be one to one that way you don't have to worry about self-addressed stamped envies and extra postage.

Good idea, Kathy N.! I know I greatly prefer swaps of any kind that don't require me to do multiples. Those are just too 'mfg' for me. And I don't mind extra postage & padded envelopes if my swap is one-to-one & is other-than-paper...

How about a stamped-on-glass swap?

I would go for a stamped on glass swap. I was in an anything goes swap and a woman sent me a small five inch oval mirror that she stamped on and colored with glass stains. She also sent a small easel to display it on. Lots of possibilites with glass. You could do suncatchers, decorative bottles, votive holders, jewelry, ornaments or display pieces. Great idea Daniel.

That sounds neat, Kathy! Have we ever done a swap on handmade envelopes? I don't remember.

Since this is the busiest time of the year. I'm starting up in January again with the swaps. Our first swap will be an Asian Card swap. I'll start a new thread in the middle of December. Thanks for your attention..............the flower child

An Asian swap sounds like a great idea. However, I don't think I have any Asian
stamps. Might be a good reason to get one.

I could stamp you some random images of Asian stuff, Ann. Then you could just use some of those and make your own card! Or you could buy an Asian stamp! Let me know if you'd like the images!

I would go for anything other than paper. It's time to explore other surfaces. Mary

What about swaping a page with a recipe on it, as well as stamping? 8 1/2x11, so that we can punch holes in it and put into notebook. I have a notebook started because my stamping group does that. Each Dec. meeting we bring a goodie to eat and have made a recipe page of it for our notebooks.
