smooch spritz nozzle question

I purchased several new. Some work, and some don't. Is there a trick to get them activated and keep them activated.

When I get a clogged nozzle, I stick the spray bottle, nozzle down, in a cup of warm water. Usually that will unclog it. To get a new bottle started, sometimes you have to pump it quite a few times.

When they get clogged and they all do you just have to keep

doing each time what KathyN. suggested.

Another thi8ng swish your bottle side to side that also helps,

Trudy

I agree with Kathy, I also, when they are being stubborn and the warm water doesn't de-clog them, use alcohol to de-clog them. DebRN

Some nozzles have to be cleaned after each use. I usually just use warm water, that does the trick for me.........the flower child

I had this problem last night with a bottle that I've previously used.
I ended up taking the sprayer assembly completely apart. It looks like some of the 'spritz' got stuck on the spring. It may take more than warm water.

Haven't had any probles with any of them on 1st use.

I was just at the Clearsnap site and took this from their 'Tips'

If ink dries outside the nozzle, remove the nozzle and submerge in household cleaner (such as Windex or 409), for 20 minutes. Rinse, replace the nozzle, shake well and spray.

Now we know what to do!

Thanks for the tip, I used either warm soapy water or alcohol and that seemed to work at times. I will try this next even with my Memories Mists sprays. DebRN

I have heard that vinegar and water is a good cleaner and especially for those who may have severe allergies or like my friend who has MS. She can't use any household cleaners as they send her to the hospital. She can use white vinegar and water and says it works quite well for most cleaning she must do around the house.

Are you able to remove the nozzle. I have leakage but no spray. Sure would like to fix it.

Would you mind sharing the link of those "tips" - I did go to clearsnap website tonight, but didn't find their tips section.
