You can use any CLEAR stamp if you add cushion to the stamping tool like I did here. The cushion can stay on the tool and you can also use the cushion stamps on it and it will work fine.

Trudy, you can stamp with versamark and then use glitter embossing. Imagine the outcome!

I need to try the Versa Mark and embossing. I bet it will be pretty! Here is a card I made using the stamping gear. The frame around the lady was made with the gear.

I feel my will power weakening. I really like your card April. Seeing how the frames work in a finished card has a lot bigger impact that just seeing the frames done on card stock.

You got that right Kathy! Now April that card can come my way anytime.LOL
Beautiful job! I had a need for this type of tool awhile back and my husband and I discussed how to go about it. Guess we were a day late and a dollar short as the old saying goes. But now, I know what I need to get to accomplish the task. Thanks for sharing. Is it expensive April?

April, thank-you for sharing these photos! I just got back from my annual stamp weekend with my friends up in Lancaster, PA and took my Stamping Gear to show them. I was able to get mine at M's with a 40% off coupon.
I saw the idea with the cushion so you can use it for your clear stamps...cool idea. I need to play with it and see what I can come up with.

Thanks for making the card. I don't scrapbook, so I was wondering if the insides of the gear was small enough for cards. Your picture helped. I have watched the videos, but they have made mostly scrapbook sized stuff. Waiting for some new ones.

Thanks for the nice comments on my card! Terri, you can purchase this several ways. The whole kit with all the gears and quite a few stamps is $50, but using a 40 - 50 percent off coupon really helps. They are in every chain store now. You can get the small set with the small round gear and some stamps, plus the stamp tool for $16. However, we have found that that gear makes larger circles than using the inside of the large round gear. You can buy the large gears separately, but I don't know how much they are a piece, and I think you can get the stamping tool separately. I am still playing and hoping to use some more frames on cards soon! It was fun meeting you at the Stamp Scrap convention! I had lots of fun -- hope you did too!

Are you stamping gear people still playing with your stamping gears? I almost bought one when I was in Michael's last week but I was afraid it might end up collecting dust in a corner much like the Colorbox stamp press I bought.
