Have you ever......?
Have you ever created such a wonderful piece that you don’t want to use? .... which would mean having to give it away! Here are two pieces I made with embossing paste (which I coloured with inks) using Kite stencils from JudiKins on glossy card stock. I’m keeping these! Anyone else kept their favourites? Do you want to share?

I have a huge stack of them!
I make ten or more when I need one. I love to use paste through a stencile then put on embossing powder on, let it dry overnight, heat emboss the powder. You get a porcelain look. Some of my embossing powders get used seldom so it is a surprise! And beautiful but not for the stamp I was going for. I have lots of those papers! When you get out all the supplies why not make a lot!

Yes, I do have backgrounds that I love to keep! I also make a lot of backgrounds when I have all my stuff out.
Here are 2 backgrounds I made using embossing paste. The swirl one was made by using translucent paste. When it dried I used color bursts over the top, spritzed with water and wiped off the excess color on the paste. On the lattice looking one I used white embossing paste, added various colors of ep when it was still wet and heat set it. As you can see I am still holding on to these! LOL! April |

April, I can see why you’re holding onto these creations! They couldn’t be duplicated no matter how hard you tried! LOL

Beautiful Wendy and April. I agree, it is such a problem parting with beauties like these. You have given me some ideas, thanks for the inspiration. Hugs, DebRN

Hee hee, YES me too. I have many of the post cards that I've made from just playing around. There's always ones that I think are so nice I don't want to give them up. But, I'm learning to make duplicates while I'm in "that creative mode." I'm not as resistant to using the duplicates on the cards I send. Also, over the years, My friend MaryJo McGraw taught me to work on larger pieces of paper, so when I'm finished I have several post cards that are perfect for cards to send and part to keep to and admire.

Yes, I have made things that I won't give away. If it is a card, I put it in my samples. I love both your samples, Wendy and Stampwilly.
