October Monthly Challenge

Well, September is behind us and we have a winner for the September challenge! The winner is -------------

DANIEL! Congrats Daniel. I will be sending your RAK very soon.

Thanks to everyone who did the challenge. I enjoyed seeing all the fun shaped cards!

Now on to the October challenge. I do hope to see many of you participate! This challenge is easy. Use Fall colors on your project -- gold, orange, brown, olive green. You do not have to use all the colors listed, but please use at least 2. Since we are a stamping board I would like to see some stamping and not just a saying. Remember, if you use a Judikins or Posh stamp your name will go in the drawing twice, otherwise your name will go in the drawing once. Have fun!

April

I managed to pull together a card for April's challenge. It's a gatefold of brown & orange with a gol yellow inside.
The watermark stamps are from a Posh Asian set.
The remaining stamps--leaf, bird, frame, sentiments) were stamped with plum ink.

Thanks April. I'm looking forward to seeing how others handle your challenge.
Hmm--it might be fun to use Fall colors for other-than-autumn cards.

There are foam leaves there too.
Stamps really old, don't know who made them.
Background is new distress oxide ink.
Colored with intensive penciles.

Great job Yankee! Love the mix of 3D & flat.
I got a neat set of stamps as my rak from April. Used the pinecone & a medallion to make the owls. Fleshed them out by cutting my own stencil. Stamped in their perches. The framework & trellis are Posh images.

Sheila, I love your card with the added embellishments! Daniel, when you said you used the stamps I sent I thought - I didn't send you any owls!! You did a great job making them using the stamps.

Thank you both for doing the challenge!

I love how your creativity saw an owl with combining your medallion and pinecone stamps. A very pretty card indeed.

Nice submissions Daniel and Yankee. Boy shaker cards are all the rage. I haven't looked closely just heard about it and did our own thing using glass beads and Roxs. Never thought about sequins. These look fun!
