Daniel, sounds like a good move to investigate moving to a warmer clime and to where you also have some friends. Let us know if you go down to check it out and what you have decided. Best of luck!

I tried driving today for the first time in 4 months. DH came with me and it was like riding a bike after you've fallen off. I had no pain or problem with braking or reaction time with my right leg, so I guess I'm good to go! Only problem I had to deal with was to move the seat all the way back so I could swing my legs in comfortably, move the seat up to drive, and push it back again when I wanted to get out. LOL. It will feel wonderful to get some of my independence back.

Janet

WOW, Daniel! Florida sounds pretty good after living in your colder climate I would imagine! Didn't one of our Posh members live there? I love watching the tv show about people buying homes in Florida after living in cold weather states. It looks VERY inviting for sure! Good luck! It was Char that lived in Inverness.Do you ever talk with her?

This weekend was busy, I went both days to the stamp show in Mesa, AZ.
I saw and talked to Judi, I love watching her demo.
Her and Rob are the greatest!

But I will not tell you that yesterday I didn't have to touch my clocks. We don't have daylight savings time in the valley.
And I will not tell you that it is 80 degrees here and I am sitting here in shorts.
Cause I don't want any one angry at me for rubbing it in.
Of course in the summer and I am crying cause its 116 degrees, you can rub it in.

Talking

LOL, Yankee! I won't tell you that tomorrow we're due to hit 50 degrees & I'll wear shorts, too. One person's balmy is another's Brrr, eh?

What fun that you got to see Judi & Rob!

Today is overcast with a chance of rain showers. 'Sok. It'll melt some snow.

Gonna see if I can do a piece for Loosy's St. Paddy's Challenge. Her & Wendy's cards are fun!

Far as the re-locating? Won't be right away. We have to finish cleaning out the house & more before I can make a real move. But I'm looking forward to seeing where life takes me.

Hope we all have a terrific today! Later, gators!

Just a quick stop today. We got rain last night. It melted a bit more of our snow. Today is the forecast 50s. Nice! It's gonna cool off next few days, but not as arctic as its been.

Still working @ clearing out my stuff. Surprising how much of my craft stuff I'm willing to put in the estate sale. Not sure yet what items I'll be keeping, but that's ok. Without trying to sound conceited, I can pretty much craft with whatever's available--including stamping. I suspect that's true for lots of crafters of my generation.

Hope we're all having a nice today.

Good Morning All!

A bit cooler here today after Wed.'s 'heat wave' (50s), but still warmer than it's been since Jan. Fingers crossed that we're on a warmer trend finally.

Tomorrow is our 2nd Friday 13th in a row! 'Sok. I'm still feeling lucky. How 'bout y'all?

We have another dumpster for the cleanout. I'm going to focus on getting some room in my bed/work room by tossing my old mattress & base--long overdue. Don't sweat. I have a bed to sleep on.

Hoping we all have a great today! Catchya later, pals!

Good thing Daniel. It's hard to sleep without a bed, the floor is a little rough. Been there, done that.

Yesterday was rainy. but better than the blizzard Wendy said she was getting. Hope she & Janet get some 'Spring' soon.

I finished tossing the old bed yesterday. Now I need to toss all the accumulated junk that was under it. Just need a shovel & some trash bags.

I checked out the March ATCs for Blossom's Swap. They are all neat!

Happens that I made one for a recent challenge--actually a combination of three challenges. Had to use alcohol inks, make a 'Bokeh' BG & do an ATC with some image that flies. What was fun was finding my Judikins EP--Rustique Jade Patina. It worked well on the butterflys I stamped over the others I had stamped with StazOn.

Thumbs up

Happy St. Paddy's Day!

Hope we're all having a nice today. It's not bad here weatherwise--a bit overcast with occasional gusts of wind & in the '40s. Still better than we've had the last several weeks so no complaints from me.

On the craft front... Been giving myself permission to do a bit even tho' the ongoing 'cleanout' must take priority. My latest crafty doings have been using chalk to color stamped images. It's the result of a challenge I ran across. I won't chat about on our 'chat', but may start a thread about what I've done.

Got to get on with stuff so wishing us all a terrific today!
