Thanks for your nice comments, winsrella! Actually, the "promise" message (which is quoted from Winnie the Pooh) is the only stamp which is not Judi's or Posh's. As I don't consider it to be a major contributor to the look and layout of the card (a typed out message would yield about the same layout), I don't feel awkward about using it. However, MAJOR stamp images will all come from JK and Posh.

I actually don't have a single JK or Posh word stamp! In fact, all the cards I produced above were produced during my local stamp club, which means that I brought everything with me and didn't have the luxury of being able to go to my stamp collection and look for other message stamps (which is why I used the same one twice). I'll post my updated version of the card (with new message) after the weekend.

Red face

Thanks for sharing your cards, Sharon. They are interesting. That's not 'shorthand' for "I don't like them.", however.

Far as my own pieces for this project? I thought I had a handle on it, but I continue to struggle with my ideas. 'Sok! That's why it's a challenge, huh?!

Wonderful cards! I have used pictures too and I have used the few Judikins stamps that I have -- the Parisian Gate and the Galaxy Spiral. I had fun making these. If I have time I might do one or two more.

well done, Stampwilly! I especially like the second one -- I nearly bought that galaxy spiral stamp -- you've convinced me that my collection is definitely missing it!

Here are my last two submissions. I have enjoyed making cards for this. I can't wait to see what everyone else has made! The first card's picture cracks me up! This is how I feel after a long day of stamping with my friends. That's a good thing, though! LOL!

Great cards. I'm still cogitating what I'm doing, although I've decided, just not how it will turn out. My personal goal is Feb. 3rd. I'd best get busy.

I taught first and second grades for 9 yrs. and then had kids. I stopped working outside the home then, but am gopher for my husband's construction business! LOL! My sons are grown and on their own now. I am also on the Sparkle N Sprinkle design team -- I am going on my second year with them.

Is anyone out there going to do a card without using a photo? I had thought about it but I do not know how that will mesh with these cards.
