Thanx for all the nice comments. Yeah. The goof didn't bug me enough to scrap the piece. Same for not lining up the ballustrade perfectly. It looked ok with the jog so I left it alone.

See the diecut just below the ballustrade? That's a CB diecut & the reverse face of the topping PP. It looks a bit (to me) like wheels. Hadn't noticed that when I was piecing the project.

Tanx, Jeanne & Mary. Like I said, the 'goof' didn't overly bug me, but it reminded me that when it comes to (some) masking you have to pay attention.

Hoping to see more 'brown bag' entries!

Brown paper (to me) begs for steam punk.
I covered a can for my markers in brown paper and steampunk stamps.
Top is tape that looks like a belt.

Mary and Yankee, great use of brown paper bags.

Mary you'd never know your pocket card is a brown bag.

Yankee very cool marker can. I like the steampunk fish and the belt tape.

Wonderful projects, Mary and Yankee! I am loving how everyone is using a paper bag in different ways. Great ideas! Thanks for joining the challenge. I hope we see some more soon.

I knew I'd be too swamped at work to have time for this month's challenge, but I'm enjoying viewing other folks' entries. Nice job, everyone.

BTW, Yankee, that leather belt tape is a great trompe l'oeil! It looks like real leather. Where did you find it / who makes it?

Daniel, would you mind giving stamp credits? I especially like the sitting woman.

Kathy, is the smaller butterfly a Judikins stamp? I think the larger one is a Cuttlebug embossing/cutting creation, right?

sherm

Oh yeah, is anyone else already planning a challenge for May or June?

I don't mind 'Sherm'.

There are 3 stamps: The lady came from Hampton Art (Diffusions) back in '96 as a designer sample request. I believe Diana Kovacs of 'The Moon Rose' created the stamp for Hampton. I've seen other stamp versions of this image so I figure the image is in public domain.

The ballustrade is from Beeswax & the moon was a RAK from Kathy N.

The 'lady' is a particular favorite. I've used the stamp on many projects over the past many years.

The small butterflies are from Judikins. The larger one is from cuttlebug and I ran it through a matching folder. The die comes with 4 folders. It's neat. M
