Here is my sample.

Very simple card using Judikins Lace Trim w/Rosettes, #3509H, and Grandia S doily, #3549G . The Cardstock is from Club Scrap. The ink is from CTMH.
The die cut is Spellbinders.

Judikins Dotted Bow Stamp 3557D

Well here are my two cards using only one Judikins stamp. Of all things it is a small bow Judikins Dotted Bow #3557D. I just love the way they turned out. Hope you enjoy them too.
I will list all credits later. I will have to look up the embossing folders. Also the black paper that the shirt and blouse is mounted on is entirely glittered.
I started with two ATC sized cards and sketched the patterns.
Stamped and embossed my dotted bows. Mans Shirt -Cut out the red bow and pop dotted it on mans shirt, folded him a pocket hankie cut a small line at top of pocket and inserted and glued. Applied rhinestones down the front for some formal bling. Woman's blouse - Cut round circle die and cut in thirds then cut out neckline. Cut out three black bows and glued down the front of blouse, Added mother of pearl bling on center of each bow. Then I added all shading with a Marvy brush marker in cool grey. (This doesn't show up very well) In my opinion much glitzier, glitzyier (word????) and formal in real life.
Like Mary said you can do a lot with just one stamp. Just have to think about it a bit!

Love those cards TerriO.

The shirts would make great stamps - hint to Judi

and FYI - glitzy, glitzier, glitziest.

Here is another gesso treatment on thank you card, using Judikins tree and bird.
Background handmade paper, tree stamped in gesso, let dry, painted over top on watercolor paper. Bird stamped, embossed, colored, cut out of cardstock, put on twine, backed with feather.

WOW, what a gorgeous card! I have never used Gesso. Maybe I should try! Love the stamps too! Do you brush Gesso onto the tree stamp?

Yes, I brushed the gesso on with paint brush. You don't want the gesso to go down in the design, just on the raised part. But the trick is to let dry all the way, not just to the touch.
I let it dry overnight, to make sure. I had several messes by not having it dry enough.
You can add paint to gesso to change color. I wanted black and was going to buy a jar of black gesso and my daughter said just add craft paint to get black. Looked great on the tree, but I forgot to phot before I gave it away.
