September - Monthly Challenge

Are you ready for a new challenge? It is September already! I hope we have a lot of participants this month.

First I need to announce last month's winner! Thanks to all who did the challenge. I loved seeing what you did with the splat and splatter theme!

The winner is ------- WENDY! Congrats!!! Please pm me your address so I can get the RAK to you ASAP!

Now for the new challenge -- S is for stenciling!

Use your stencils in some way on your card. There are so many ways to use them. You can use ink, sprays, embossing paste, paint and so much more! If you do not have stencils, you can make one by using the negative of a die cut.

You may make any project ( tag, card, box, etc.). You must use a STAMPED IMAGE somewhere on your project. If you use a Judikins or Posh stamp your name will go in the hat twice. If you use any other stamp on your project your name will go in the hat once. Have fun! I can't wait to see what you do with this challenge!

April

Sept Challenve

I finally got a chance to do some stamping. Here is my entry, This is so much better off camera. The flowers are a mask from Club Scrap, The pebbles are a mask from Stampin Up and the Eagle wings are a stamp by Judi. There is another window pane mask but I can't remember the company name. The crystals wee just added for a little sparkle.

September challenge

Here is my entry. The base background paper is a gelli print. The face is a Balzer Stencil. There was a Hero Art Daisy stamp used to make her headband. The ink bled however and I went back over the image with a white pen and outlined in black. ( I think I may go back and add stickles to the flower petals.) Then around the entire face I used the Judikins Mum stamp in blue and purple acrylic paint.
The saying at the bottom is a sticker, but I do not remember the manufacturer's name.
It says " Coming up with new ideas isn't as hard as breaking free from the old ones."
I did spray ink thru the stencil to begin with but then went back and refined and highlighted areas on her face that I wanted to stand out more.

April thanks foe the cuto's. I forgot to add that the pebbles mask was the added addition of Mod Podge.

Here is one of mine, did a simalar one for card of the month a few months back.
I stenciled with pasted that I colored, let dry. Stamped and embossed the tree. Layered the two panels added ribbon and gems. And no bird just gems.

You have my favorite thing to do. I love stenciling with pastes. Here is another.
Stenciled with paste, let dry, colored with spray.
Stamped some Balzer designs flowers, painted, and cut out and pop dotted.
A little stickles and ribbon.

And another one. I used this stencil and with paste. Sprayed it.
Then it sat of a long while till I got this stamp.
It looked like a stained glass window to me, or it might have been the colors I sprayed that made it look that way to me.
I made it into a Christmas Card, which I will need soon.

Sheila Rose you have two beautiful cards there.
And any recipient will love that Christmas card. It does look like a stained glass window. Don't you just love it when you create something like that and then you see the absolute perfect stamp for it.
