Life is good. I finally finished the baby quilt that was taking up 24/7 of my time.
and The weather is finally going toward fall. It is still way too hot but three mornings I got up and the outside temps were cooler than the inside temp.Yea! And it is not so humid.
I worked on some cards yesterday, so fun!

I know you are glad the baby quilt is finished. I bet it is beautiful. I know you also had fun making cards again. Hoping to see more of your work here.

I am sitting here waiting to see what hurricane Florence will bring us. It is windy and cloudy and we have had a little rain. Most of the rain will come tonight and tomorrow. I hope we don't have a lot. Denise lives about 45 min. from me and is in the path too. One son is in Charleston and he is doing fine. He says it is not raining there. The brunt of the storm has been north of him. We are in upper SC and are supposed to be getting a lot of rain.

April thank you for letting us know how things are with you. Yesterday, I actually found SC and NC maps to see where you all lived. Our neighbourhood was in a flood zone in the Spring. Keep safe! - Wendy

April, glad to hear that you're ok. I have a nephew and his wife in Raleigh and they're fine, too.

Hi everyone. I really haven't fallen off the face of the earth. I have just been having months of problems with this junky computer here at the apt building. I fight trying to get my e-mail and really fight to get on Club Posh. We haven't gotten over to the library to use theirs as we have had quite a lot going on. My 98 yr. old father had been in assisted living for about 6mo. and we were called over there to get him to agree to go to the hospital. We got him to go as he was bleeding and he needed to be checked out. They found he had blood clots on his lungs and gave him blood thinners to clear that up. Only we were told that could increase the bleeding. It did so they went in to cauterize where it was bleeding. There were complications and they couldn't stop the bleeding. We were told at that point to get the family up to see him. Jonathan tried to get a flight out of N.C. and all of the rest of the grandkids and great grandkids to see him. Little 3 yr old Elora asked if granpa was sick and would he get better. My sister, her grandma said he might get better here or in heaven where he would meet Jesus. She pounded her chest and said "MY JESUS?" Jamie said yes, he was grandpas Jesus, too.And if he went to heaven, he would see Grandma, too. Only Jonathan didn't make it on time. Dad peacefully died in his sleep. He was ready to go.

So sad to hear about your dad, Kay. Thanks for sharing the sweet story about Elora. You have my sympathy and you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am also sorry you have been having computer problems and can't get here on the board as often as you wish. I hope things work out in this area.
