I guess we could go to the Judi-Kins web-site and see what is available in the catalogue. Now that you have brought this to my attention I will have one more thing to add to my worry about list which seems to be growing all the time........the flower child
Blossom. Hooray on joining the group submission! Sorry if I added to your 'worry' list, pal. I'm not planing to forego using Posh images, as such & not suggesting anyone not use any of theirs &/or Judikins.

Your point about Judi being the one to answer this concern is spot on, Lois. And I'm happy to report Ms. Judi has! I sent Judi an email about my concern & she answered it right back. WTG, Judi! She's currently 'on the road--headed for 'MA via MI', but wanted to share her thots. She's promised to post soon, but I'm sure she won't mind if I share what she's thinking--it's brilliant! (not blowing smoke, Judi )

Since Judi is the mfr & will see our entries, she's in a position to review the images we use--Judikins & Posh. Sooooo....She can consider doing a run of images that may not be currently available. How wonderful is that?! And since the issue won't be published 'til Jan 2014, she'll have time to do it!

As Judi says in her reply..."Let your creativity flow! Don't hold back!". And I know she means that for all us CP members. So I plan to use my Posh stamps, as well as the Judikins.

Hope that reduces your 'worry list', by one item, Blossom!

Using Judi's 'advice', I'm working on my 2nd card! It's going to have some Posh along with the Judikins.

I'm having fun. Thanks to those who are sharing a bit about what they're working with stampwise & more.

Hoping lots of us will be sending Judi lots of 3x3s!

LOL, Lois. I'm sure you mean "worry less".

ITA that this can work for all concerned. Not only does it let the mag readers know about CP as a club , but it promotes our sponsor's products. And--like you--it lets me use some of my fave Posh images. Can you say monkeys & dragon?.

One thing I'm finding is that pattern paper is very much a part of what I'm using along with my stamps. I started a thread that might be useful.

I'm going to risk appearing 'pushy'--not that I ever am --& ask CP members to join this 'club submission' & say so on the thread.

So far I've only seen 4 members willing to step up to the plate & declare their intention to participate--Kathy N., April, Lois & moi. If I missed someone; I aplogize, but...

Along with loads of you, I can come up with loads of valid reasons why I can't make a 3x3 card & send it off for inclusion in our mag submission. Mom's health, my health, computer problems & yadda, yadda.

Feel free to flame me, but... Every CP member I've met admits that they create projects. Some have never shared their pieces with us. They have tons of (again valid) reasons. Know what? I buy their reasons, but... Here's a chance to not worry about tech problems. Just make the card & mail it to Judi. Don't forget to put a stamp on your envelope...

I am hoping to get another one finished real soon. I will then post my cards. Not sure what I will be doing with the next card, but ideas will come I am sure.

Terrific, April! I tweaked my first one & changed my mind on the 2nd. As you say... Ideas come. But I can live with just getting one card in the mail if that's what happens.

Send a message via AIM to Kathy N.
I have a couple of ideas and went so far as to cut out the card stock and die cut some hearts but that's as far as I got.

It's just so hard to think valentines, but I am trying. I cut out a 3 inch square and have been trying stamps on it, but nothing yet.
I will do a least one!

Good for you! Yeah. Thinking 'valentine' can be tough as we're just entering June.

As I've shared, I have one & that's all anyone 'has' to do.

Don't forget the entries must be a 'fold card', but I don't believe they have to be square. I think we can do shaped cards (like hearts) so long as they are not over 3".

Like Kathy, I have punched & folded 2 bases to help me. I might do a third base using the heart shape idea. Then I can find the stamps.

LOL, Terri! I take that to mean you will be part of the group! Terrific!

While I don't plan to subscribe to the mag, I know it will be one its best issues since CP will be in it!

Here are my 2 cards. I used Judikins Parisian Gate, Mod Mum, and Galaxy Spiral stamps. I also used Mica Gloss -- New Penny, Old Gold and Pearl. The cards were accented with rub ons, 3-D stickers and glitter.

Thumbs up Be not 'daunted'!

If you're anything like me (skairy thot!), it may be daunting to view April's entries for our group submission.

But..., I'm so glad she did!!! Not only do they wow me, but they encourage & inspire me!

As it happens, I have 3 pieces more or less 'finished'. Know what? I still like mine & am managing not to compare mine with April's. Yes! It is a struggle, but I'm fighting the good fight. LOL

What April has done for me is illustrate several ways to go the Judikins/Posh route & add touches of other stuff. Her cards have got me wanting to do even more pieces of my own for our club.

BTW, Willy? A big TY for sharing so much info along with your pix!
